In a glossary for the non-Star Wars geeks out there (I'm more a Trekker than a Star Wars fanatic, though I enjoy Star Wars), Wired editor Adam Rogers writes in Slate concerning the Sith, the villains in the current Episode III movie:

They can often throw lightning from their fingertips, which makes any one of them a Darth and stormy knight.
